As long as a man has decent looks, money for lunch, and an internet signal, he has options. Not necessarily marriage/long term options ( which is totally not necessary) but he'll have bedroom options. Fact is, many women are boring. So not only is there no point in talking daily or frequently, why would you want to? You'll get the same dry, dull conversation about some lame coworker, what she ate, the trip to see her parents, her bad hair day, her hopes for the weekend. Just totally useless chatter.

@roses6564 that's true, you make valid points about both genders. The fact is most intelligent people are loners by default. I really don't care to have many friends simply for the reasons you mentioned. Ive heard guys talk about sports, or use the same cliched lines they heard on a video. " hit the gym, start a business " etc. Its like a group of automatons that repeat the same thing. What Ive noticed most, is that both genders tend to live with a lack of self awareness, delusional to get through the day, and have not learned that just talking for talkings sake is pointless. In regards to dating, Ive observed that often intelligent people will date who they view as hot if possible, even if their IQ is room temperature. The reason I believe is they feel it makes them viable and also allows for control. This is why you might see a bookworm plain jane with a gym rat. She gets to feel desirable and also power because she's got someone controllable. Same applies if you see an intelligent man with a Hooters waitress. He gets to feel cool and needed.
