  1. They call them the black Irish in Ireland because of the dark brooding Spanish looks they've inherited! It is true about Spanish ships sinking off the coast of Ireland. In 1588 a Spanish Armada containing 24 ships run around in North sea off the coast of Ireland. The Irish looted the shops and many Spanish ended up settling in Ireland. I have both Irish and Spanish dna as well.

  4. ​​ @dawnyoung8 Take a dna test! Though Women can only have a maternal dna test. I had I'm English born with Scottish Irish and Welsh close ancestors, but with more Scandinavian dna than British. And I have a tiny amount of native American dna, and Jewish and one Arab bedouin. Even though my parents had natural white blonde with blue eyes, I have brown hair and blue eyes, and get mistaken for being Jewish, Italian and Spanish, and I have all of the latter in my ancestry. The Brits are definitely a mixed bunch.
