  3. I'm 67, so I can compare the present with the past! And all I can say is that nowadays the lunatics are running the asylums. So glad that I'm on my way out of this crazy crazy place and not just coming in. Sometimes with hindsight I wish I'd never had children and grandchildren! Who would want to bring babies into this terrible world now.

  4. I think the main subscribers to the BBC are the over 70s. The younger generations don't bother with live stream anymore. I'm 68, and only watch Netflix, and that's not very often. Don't have a tv licence!

  24. Look at this way! Our British Jewish neighbours have lived peacefully and quietly here in the UK since around 1066! And no terrorist bombing attacks from them and making demands and trying to take over. I've met and mixed with many Jewish people in England, and I have always found the majority to be very kind, well mannered and very well educated. They cause no trouble or violence in our towns and cities. In fact the perfect neighbours. BTW I'm not Jewish. 💙

  27. ​​ @Etherealscent First black person I saw was in Lancashire in 1960 when I was 3yrs old. Stood in a shop with my mum! I remember seeing this black guy at the side of us waiting to be served! Mum said I kept looking up at him, as she tried her best to distract me because she just knew that I might say something. And I did! 😲I said "Mummy, why has that man got a dirty face". I don't remember what happened next but I bet mum was really embarrassed.
