  1. ​​ @Etherealscent First black person I saw was in Lancashire in 1960 when I was 3yrs old. Stood in a shop with my mum! I remember seeing this black guy at the side of us waiting to be served! Mum said I kept looking up at him, as she tried her best to distract me because she just knew that I might say something. And I did! 😲I said "Mummy, why has that man got a dirty face". I don't remember what happened next but I bet mum was really embarrassed.
