I was in the crowd in the footage by the closed Union Station doors. Yes, we stood shoulder to shoulder or breast to back. But everything was nice and friendly in the crowd. Not sure why the doors on the left were closed (and nobody freaked out at that). I just moved away from the doors through the crowd to the overhead pass and went to the right side of the doors. Then everything was smooth. Never been in such a friendly crowd and never expected to be there. I moved to the platform with the crowd and then to the train. They even offered me a seat. 😊 There was such a warm and festive atmosphere on the train. I returned home in North York safe and happy before 2 am. Maybe one of you has seen me. I was the only one in the crowd in a Santa cone hat and an antivirus mask. ❤ I've been to quite a big number of fireworks in Toronto around the world and all I can say: the City made a wrong decision about the place this year. Last year fireworks were in multiple places and people could make a better choce. Waterfront promenade is too small for the GTA population.
