@Wellnesspeacelovefun Vast majority of Crimeans supported reunification with Russia. And Russia did hold referendum, and international observers were invited. Tell your friend that he's free to move to ukrane. No one is holding him hostage.

Go "drive around" and compare streets views under Ukrainian occupation vs Russia. 10 years ago Crimea looked like nothing was done since 1980's... Unmaintained parks, buildings, roads, now everything is new. There are tons of YouTubers showing before and after too, and what it was like living under ukrane when for example people would fence off a beach illegally and charge everyone to access the beach vs now...

@FishandHunt no I don't remember the 3 day claim, why don't you remind me who said it and when...? Russia committed war crimes against civilians? Where Bucha? Why haven't anything been published? What are the victim names? Why is ICC filed charges against Putin for sending kids out of war zone to a summer camp in Crimea, instead of "war crimes" that you are babbling about?
