  5. ​ @divumque my wife is from Donbass region and that's how they always felt about ukrane - communists took region of Russia and gave it to "Ukraine".... It was forcing love. That's why despite forces ukrainianization for two decades, ukranian language never caught on and everyone continued to speak Russian... When the Soviet Union fell apart, they never wanted to be part of the Ukraine...

The minute Ukraine became independent, Ukrainian speakers, who are a minority started demanding making ukranian the official language and basically force it on everyone (falls under UN definition of genocide). In East ukrane people said - we don't want to be part of the Ukraine than. Is amazing how the US is backing all these language Nazis in the Ukraine. Imagine French speaking minority in Canada banning English language.... Are you going to pretend the US wouldn't invade to handle "human rights violations"?

  12.  @SilentStorm_5  big difference? Yes that's right - Russia is dealing with a country on its borders that has American installed regime, and is a threat to Russia's national security. The US illegally invades countries for no reason, murders millions of civilians then loots them of their natural resources. Or in case of Cuba, runs illegal prison there to try to bypass both American and international humanitarian laws.
