  2. Europe economy was dependent on Russian gas. For example look at chemical plants - the largest plants in Germany, Netherlands, Poland have all shut down or scaled back. Germany is losing all energy intensive manufacturing to China and the US.

  3. Why would anyone want to replicate German engineering? Everything is overly complicated, constantly breaks down, and costs to repair are 3x times of Japanese mechanics. This western worship needs to stop, I don't know who and how convinced the world that German engineering it's top notch, anyone who's dealt with German cars, appliances, heavy equipment or elevators/lift knows it's total trash.
