  3. ​ @lbrounen losing a generation doesn't necessarily mean dead. Millions of young women have fled and are too busy establishing lives in their new homes. Most aren't going to go back by the time it's over. Young men who weren't able to flee will either be dead, wounded or have mental issues from PTSD. And what are they coming home to? What's the life's goal if all the women are gone? So the ones that are physically fine will probably immigrate out too.. And who's left - mental cases, cripples and old people?

  9. ​ @stephenbrown3963 Soviets losing in Afghanistan is actually western propaganda from the 80's that's somehow still gets passed around. Soviets installed a pro-Soviet government before withdrawing. The government actually outlived the Soviet Union by almost two years. Eventually, without Soviet funding the US funded terrorists did manage to run Kabul over.
