You mean nominal GDP. 🤡, there is a reason why PPP was created, you can't compare a state where one bedroom apartment costs $2 grand a month with a country where the average rent is less than $200 a month... In PPP terms the wealthiest American state has GDP per person twice that of Russia on average. Take it millionaires and billionaires of silicon valey and your average California is poorer than the Russians.
