  1. ​ @linuxguy1199 having STEM guys do blue collar work is way more important than you realize. It introduces them to the difference between computer modelIing vs human behavior and real world use. I went from being a $11/hour driver (no college degree due to my poor background) to being a VP of a engineering/UI/UX division in 15 years with fortune 500 company, simply because I knew the difference between the two. I had two PHD guys rage quit on the same day when they found out that their new director (at the time) was going to be a HS dropout. Were they smart? Very! Were they an asset to the company? Absolutely not. They literally dragged things down because they knew "better than everyone else"..
