  2. ​ @ltu42  my brother has two soviet ZIL fridges passed from parents and grandparents - both are 70 years old, both are in the garage still running, neither needed a repair ever, not even a Freon refill. Maybe we got lucky, maybe the quality was top notch. I've had Samsung/LG/Bosch fridges/dishwashers/washers, not one lasted a decade.

  5.  @tamolamo4698  My dad had a ZAZ, the POS broke down monthly. Then bought a new Lada 2107, had it about 15 years, it "broke down" once - when he ran it into a curb and damaged suspension. And the reason people bought western cars was because in late 80s, SU simply wasnt updating engines and they were weaker compared to Western counterparts, not because of reliability issues.

  6. This wasn't a great review - Doug was obnoxious and annoying. Spent 5 minutes laughing at emergency kit... Too dumb to understand purpose of grounding wire for the hood, and in general just sounded like a total dumbass.
