What I mean is that farmers make most of their income from the crops that they do NOT grow. The promise to not grow a crop breaks them even. The crop that is grown and sold is where the profit on top is, but is only scratch.

Government subsidies payout large sums in order to manipulate exchanges (exchanges that make the stock market look like childs play). The more farms politicians own, the more they can pay themselves for what they do not do. Pretty simple when you understand the nature of the beast. Pretty messed up. And, Congress voted to increase their pay and decrease their work hours.... Yeah.. No accountability.
