  2. Chinese government told people for years that family was a nuisance. Starting in 1960’s, more seriously by the end of the 70’s. All because they required the public to help them rather than serve the public. They told people not to have kids or more than one. They left tens of millions of men without a spouse in essence telling people not to marry at all.
