  1. Her father was already arrested and that kind of stays with a person. It was he who hatched the plan of being responsible. It doesn’t seem in dramas anyway self defense ever works and the victim ends up in prison even if we to protect themselves. As the child of a murderer she really doesn’t have a future anyway. They are trying to make it illegal to ask about family in hiring and other matters but I don’t think it’s a reality yet.

She would have been labeled a murderer and it would not have mattered what he did on a test. The shoe guy didn’t have enough money for the daughter to do great on the test. So he was willing to have the label hoping she would leave the country. The mom in part killed him to avoid the cheating scandal he and his wife had dirt on her for. In real life the Last Korean President ended up in prison all come to light because of academic dishonesty of her speechwriter’s/shadow president’s daughter. Academic fraud, illegal admission, cheating are all serious to an outsider almost more serious than any other crime. The daughter not only got kicked out of college, but they also took her high school diploma and it landed the heir of Samsung and President at the time and her mom in prison for pity sakes.

  3. The police car would be behind. The officer would notice the blood and if someone went in the glovebox without being told to they would arouse suspicion and the officer thinking they were getting a weapon would pull out their own gun.

  5. They would have found the tape of the academic dishonesty and ruined her son. I don’t think people get off for self Defence, at least in drama land. Academic dishonesty would have lost her kids their placement in schools, perhaps their diploma.

  7. Wow did that kid play an evil person quite well! Glad she turned herself in. Who cares goes to which school and which college? What an odd country. I hope mom warned sister little brother is scary. Maybe it was all those pills? The murder was self defense. He had it coming. The only thing she was guilty of was cheating. Then the cover up of the incident. I wonder if she would have turned herself in if the wife didn't play that recording of her cheating though? Instead of killing the wife like she did the husband, or committing suicide like her own husband sounds like she chose prison to get away from her problems. I thought the person trying to rape her had more men with him at the shoe repair?

  8. With her son and older daughter out of the country she turned herself in. Any scandal won’t touch them abroad. She can leave the hell she is in by confessing.

  10. Look up. Chung Yoo Ra. Her high school diploma revoked. Her college expelled her. She didn’t go often anyway and wasn’t qualified to attend. That college scandal was what started it. Amazing isn’t it?

  12. She has a conscience. It ate away at her. Once her kids were out of the country she could do it. The academic dishonesty was the real worry. They could take back the kids’ diploma for high school if that tape got out. Clearly the widow knew and all she cared was Jun got into the right school. Scary. It almost like she was setting him up for an adultery incident which used to be criminal and even now gives her all the cards in a divorce.
