An A isn’t 93%. Everything is relative in Korea. It’s always on a curve. Only 4% of students get rank 1. The next 7% rank 2 and so on. There are 9 ranks total. The first 3 you eat chicken, the second 3 you make children and the last 3 you deliver chicken for a living. It would be like in the U.S. if anyone not Ivy League felt a failure. It’s stupid. So basically you could get 89% on a test and if 23% got a higher percent right you are in the 2nd tier making chicken for a living, rank 4. And they post the rank as well. A lot of bullying in life is for this reason. To shake up your opponent. In the U.S. teachers want students to ask questions. Cause another might have the same question. Let’s not move on until everyone understands how to solve the math problem before teaching the next one. Most people get C or higher. Great. In Korea you don’t let anyone know you didn’t understand the math problem the teacher showed the class on the board. You never ask questions. You hope you figure it out and some of the class does not. So your rank is higher. The teacher didn’t bother her cause her parents bullies, high rank people. In Korea only 4% can be at the top. The top 23%, will have a good life. The rest will struggle. It’s considered fair. It’s ridiculous. I wanted them to band together and expose the other girl.

What a goofy ending. Should they not pair together and take out the other girl?
