  1. Why can't they move to another neighborhood or other city? Mom drives far away to work. She isn't in high school. They would need a place for four people cause the brother will be discharged soon.

  2. The older two got to grow up with their dad and all the financial stability he provided. All three kids will have a harder time in life cause they don't have both parents. One parent means less connections and less financial stability. Adulthood doesn't really happen until marriage. For the eldest son he may be home forever and take over the provider role for his parents. It's good the daughter has a skill. I feel bad for her quitting school studying for her GED. It looks like the elder daughter will get to finish college, even though it's later.
