I understand the mother in the first concern. All her life she had expectations to earn money and have that all important son. And now that she doesn't have to worry about her In laws or husband to put expectations on her she now has to fight her children. Her children are thinking the best for her, but I think they have to get creative. Visit her in the market. Help her sell the fruit by working the stand while another sibling takes her to lunch with a few of the grandkids. They need to care for their mother on her terms. It's wrong to push a senior out of their livelihood and take control of their lives away from them when they still have to ability to reason for themselves.
