  5. Actually it seems it was dangerous for that man to be out after midnight as he tried to do something bad. There are 25 million women in S Korea who were also out after 10 that night and nothing happened to them. Seoul doesn’t sleep. The Seoul metro area doesn’t and the half dozen other cities of over a million people also don’t sleep. The work day is into the early morning. Overtime is into the early morning. She was with her coworkers after work. The places to eat are open into the early morning. This isn’t a 9-5 society where everything closes at 8 and people are asleep at 10pm. There are high school students out at study hall after academy until 2am. If 1 million high school students are out past midnight it’s fine for a woman in her 20’s.
