@FriedaVizelBrooklyn it’s like a uniform. A lot of micromanagement, if I were from there I might be mad at God over it. Cover this part or that part is fine but colors and how to cover is too much. What do sensory sensitive people do? Are there allowances for autism and such?

@yubbadubbadubba For situations. No one is complaining about the school uniform at school. It’s having that uniform at the park no matter the weather, on the street, etc.. that is the excess. We have a choice in where we work to an extent. The uniform is part of that decision. But it’s actually kinda of my point what you are saying about the secular world. My teen son has sensory stuff going on. From time to develops his own uniform and it’s not just that he needs repetition it’s an attachment to a particular shirt of a particular material and the color matters as well. And it changes every few years. In the secular world he can throw a button down over it for a few hours for a funeral. In this world he would have be in it all the time? Situation of distress much longer or stand out. Maybe he would be pitied for disability and allowed the deviation from the dress code, but why make a person with a mostly invisible disability look outwardly as if they have a disability?
