The ‘flowery’ language is similar to Catholic girls high school. There will be a balance in the introduce between morality, character, Catholic perspective and additional words like leader and achievement and the future academics cause all are expected to do college or something after graduation. It is expected of any school that requires tuition.

Catholic schools also pick specific color socks. And shoes.

What law says pantyhose are required to cover legs? Did Sara wear them? I always imagined her wearing sandals without socks. Will they be lifting up skirts? I think they just want the problems to be about socks. It’s a pleasant world when the schools major concern is about socks. It is nice to be in a bubble. Especially when the rest of the world gone goofy and a bit scary. It reminds me of Mayor Giuliani who got rid of graffiti and panhandlers. Handle the small stuff and it takes care of the big stuff. I feel like a marionette puppet in pantyhose. I’m glad I could wear socks. Sounds a nightmare for people with sensory issues.

But here is the problem in a place like Lakemore NJ , you don’t necessarily have all elementary kids of either gender in the same school, nor pick your school. How do you deal with the at home rules when all the kids have schools saying contradictory things to parents. Why do parents give a school authority over their own life? Isn’t Judaism heart of the home? Torah should not be this complicated. It’s like there being all JW, Mormons and Greek Orthodox kids in one neighborhood and none of the schools close enough to match. Although math is always math.

Elitism. Rules for the sake of rules instead of rules written down and kept for thousands of years. There is everyone doing the same thing and there is micromanaging people. And the parents pay for their kids to attend. I think in the outside world parents are just more concerned with things being out of their hands in the hands of well meaning people. It does not affect me. Too many years being told what to wear I guess. @beans4853

But often the parents don’t pick the school. And often cause of sudden growth they have two girls around the same age in 2 different schools and not the parent’s first choice. One school requires parents and girls to not have shirt all the way down and the other school requires it. It could be maddening and cause to give up on the whole thing. @beans4853

Commenting while watching. Isn’t there a uniform? Why the focus on trends when there is a uniform? Aside from the jewelry, hair color, shirt length, shoe type, etc…

In her climate? Nope. It can’t be require of Torah if they were not invented yet. Some way to cover the body yes, but not cover it that way. @lawrencemielnicki5643

And then there is the hair on legs with tights issue. Or pantyhose where the hair goes through. And the fact they fall and with the control top lower down a person is constantly readjusting and feel like a marionette. Honestly make the rabbi wear it for day and then leggings and then long skirt with socks and they will have an entirely different perspective. And the moisture down there with a pad during the cycle. Not good. @beans4853

Why does the 5th grade books add up to less than the total? Is there another figure?

Can’t be all the way to the ankle so everyone wears tights and they can tell.
