Not all land is habitable. If you watch this channel often you would know many have a second place in the country. But things are arranged in apartments so people are close to work and stores and other ameneties. Canada is also large but half of all residents live within a hundred miles of the US border. Much of the land isnt habitable.

It costs a lot to dry clothes. It really isn’t a thing in a lot of countries. Hang dry.

She thought it was built in the 1990’s which was after. In Russia for a period of time a whole family slept, worked, ate in a single room with a shared kitchen and bath in the apartment with other families. These rooms aren’t 10x10. They are larger but narrow. Just think of each room like a hotel room. Room for a bed or two and a small couch or desk area. If the floor plan were rearranged it’d look like many western apartments or even ranch homes. In the McMansions of the US there are TVs and sitting areas in the master bedroom. Why can’t they have a tv in a bed in a room in Russia? Or a tv in the kitchen? Plenty of western homes have a tv in the kitchen. With tablets and monitors are we even watching stuff in a couch anymore? When I was growing up the living room was for company. There is plenty of communal space outside as well. Seems plenty large enough for a family of parents and a couple of kids even by western standards. In your mind imagine the kids in the kitchen as a bedroom, the parents in the center room. The baths stay the same and the large room starts with a kitchen with table and sofa and tv. It’s a large enough room.

Technically to be listed as a one bedroom apartment it would need a built in closet/wardrobe in the room. Which is might have? This apartment looks plenty spacious.
