  1. They tax the heck out of people who put in a bathroom. That is why. Not that people want to leave the house at night to go to the bathroom. It would also seem that they don’t want people to live in the country all year but just part of the year in the location of the summer place. It’s nice to have that space. I spent summers in a trailer at a camp ground. It was smaller space than that. But nice to have a toilet without having to go outside.
