  4. I’m sure it happens in western countries too. It’s hours being worked being on the premises that concern me. I’m sure people in the lumber industry, the oil industry, etc.. live on site. Although given there are thousands of units in view it’s a wonder that workers don’t come from the community. An off shore oil rig isn’t near tens of thousands of people. This is a station and apartments being built in a large city. Surely workers could come from the locals. If there were dorms in LA set up to build a few skyscrapers and another branch of the public transit I would assume the workers were all being exploited. I know I could be wrong but my mind would wonder if something wrong was happening to the workers.
