Teachers all belonging to a teachers union have held kids attention captive for 13 years or more before they enter college. And college is very similar. I think complaining you are in a job where you don’t get enough money and appreciation for decades has got to lead to people not wanting to bother with that career path. Just saying. Virtually everyone over 40 has seen one shutdown by the municipality. or strike by the teachers.

@David-li4uw teachers all belonging to a teacher’s union is not saying all teachers belong to a teacher’s union. I’m talking of the kids in classes with teachers belonging to a union… Most public school teachers belong. It’s only been recent, last 5 years, they have been allowed to stop paying dues and keep their jobs. It is usually a district wide union.
