You had a fully paid for home and decided not to take on traditional jobs anymore. There are periods in life where life is more affordable than other time.

He is rich off of poor people. He overextended himself so thinks no one else can pay a credit card monthly in full. Also think he is too hard core about car loans and even student debt to a degree.

Why not just store the cilantro separate and people can add it in?

I just had an Ah Ha moment. My son has been skipping meals, but also making more of his meals. I thought he needed the control and to a degree he does. But I think some of it is decision fatigue. A lot of times he will want to eat out and have left overs. A decision already made for the next day and a relief. Also he is partial to some meals at home that have left overs. Though he can get bored doing the same meal over and over.

There should be long term fixed rate loans. Could always refinance if they go down. US has this.

The mortgages were set up like this during the 1930’s. At that same time southern democrats were passing laws about separate water fountains, seating on buses and restricting voting for certain classes. I’m not sure what your point is? Won’t Labor pass it? Are your mortgages held by the government but managed by the banks? @Michelle_Emm

I really hope your home sold or you still have insurance on it.

In a way our grandparents used to eat this way. Breakfast and lunch the same every day for a week. Each dinner might have been different BUT every Monday would have been meatloaf and every Tuesday pasta, etc... They knew how much to buy so that everyone had enough without having food waste.
