  1. This is absolutely ILLEGAL!! As a retired police officer I am appalled by the standards of officers they employ these days. Not only do they not know the law, they are so sensitive and feeble. Why do they join? Neil is correct. All my colleagues have probably retired by now but most old coppers couldn't wait to get out as it was getting so bad. That woman must be sacked and the officers assisting her require urgent retraining.

  3.  @lifeisyours8250  The police swear allegiance to the Monarch, not the government of the day, but it all comes under that same umbrella I guess. Many police do their best within the parameters they're given to work within, some are just useless morons. But yes, unlawful.

  9.  @MrScrumpyjack1  Some do but the police is not just ONE person. I joined up to arrest criminals and keep the streets safe. There are officers who were and are the same as me I know that. I have had many letters of appreciation not only from victims but from three offenders I arrested too. I was fair and respectful to them and they appreciated it. Not all criminals are terrible people.

I never said the officer wasn't offended, I am sure she was, but in law it wasn't a crime unless of course it was intended to be but that would have to be proved but as there was no POA offence then it can't be proven. This is called 'Mens Rea' try Googling that. I bet you'll find that Latin phrase offensive too eh? LOL
