  1. We are all suffering for the EV insanity as we are paying higher premiums for THEM. With all the abuse I have had from EV nuts trying to make them see, all I can say is - Serves you right. With all the speed humps here in the UK I am sure there are many EVs driving around with damaged battery casings and when, or if they ever need to claim or sell it they will have an almighty shock!! I imagine a repair shop taking in an EV for say a light cluster and it combusts. The insurance company them refuse to pay out because the battery casing (which wasn't noticed immediately) was damaged. Best not even let them bring them near a repair facility.

  2.  @snirptacular  I never make things up fyi. Evidence of what exactly? I am making a point not a statement of fact. People driving around with damaged casings? It is pretty obvious that's the case mate. But yes insurances are going up for everyone and companies are not only refusing to insure EVs they have to make up their losses somehow and insuring more EVs would be ridiculous. Maybe you should make yourself clear.

  3.  @snirptacular  I never 'make things up'. How about some insurance companies refusing to insure them and ferries refusing to carry them and pounds refusing to store them? It ain't what I believe mate, it's what I know.
