@keithhodgenia2056 He is talking about apartments. The grid can't cope with too many and what about the cables and when everyone needs to get to work the next day? You haven't thought it through I take it?

@JDDevice You are forgetting that the car chargers are in ADDITION to what is already being used and stoves and dryers are not being used for hours on end. This is what I have been saying all along - subsidies distort the market. Some people don't have those benefits anyway. Stop thinking about YOU and think about the bigger picture. And what cell phones have to do with this is anyone's guess.

@JDDevice How about other EV owners? Will there be enough charging bays as well as parking space. In London that will never be possible. It may cost next to nothing at the moment but that will change and that's if they don't decide to limit your usage. To even contemplate widespread EVs you have to look at EVERY scenario because they won't all be the same as yours. In cities and some towns EVs will be an impossible ask.
