@paulwoods1950 I built a car port attached to my house (UK) around 10 years ago and fire wasn't even a consideration with Building Control.

There are so many serious negative issues relating to EVs but the agenda rolls on. carbon is just a red herring to get us out of our cars and take us back to the Stone Age. And please don't ask me why they would do that. I could explain but my posts and comments always get deleted by YT.

@mechanic2121 It isn't just the massive toll on the grid when /if it becomes more prolific, it's also the overall agenda and there is one. There is no 'fear mongering' because the dangers are a reality. What is the problem with oil derived fuels? Destructive? Everything has its down side but you have to balance it with the fact we need to live.
