  11. Many years ago I went to the Summer Exhibition where I saw an awful piece of 'art' created out of bits of old wood all nailed together and painted in garish colours. It was amusing to stand near it and hear the comments, like 'I wouldn't hang that in my garage' and 'my 6 year old could have made that' or 'OMG!' etc etc.
