Imagine Chinese restaurants trying to cook on electric. If you know anything about proper Chinese cooking, a very high heated wok creates the flavour. Put cool food in an electric pan cools down almost immediately and then just barely sizzles.

So you can find a Tesla charger anywhere and don't have to alter your route by several miles when low to find one? If you're not sure why they are hated you need to look at the non eco production side, the time wasting while charging, the drop in second hand prices, insurance costs (if you will be able to find a comp[any soon),. the stress on the grid, not everyone can charge at home, when the subsidies stop and not to mention the spontaneous combustion etc etc. And please don't tell me diesels are more likely to combust.

@imranochannel7339 But only some people CAN charge at home. Plenty on what routes? Not routes I drive on! And I don't want to keep stopping to charge on route anyway and what about power outages when traveling long distances? Motels? No I haven't had one and I never will because I understand what this drive is all about. It's a fad. You don't understand this agenda I am sure.

@imranochannel7339 Not that remote now but where I lived a few years back was quite remote. I don't have the time to stop for 40 mins or however long it takes if I need to get somewhere quickly and I don't want to even take charging time into consideration or only to find they are all in used or out of order etc. If I need fuel I can stop for 6-7 minutes and off again.
