@stonedoliveees Many roads and old side streets were laid with cobbles and granite blocks when I was growing up in the late 50s and 60s. Most were all pulled up, but some have just been tarmacked over. As you say they looked really nice. Road workers never replaced them though, just re surfaced over them in horrible patches. Cost to councils is more important than aesthetics these days.

@marknett7787 So how will emergency vehicles negotiate all these road closures and detours? Most emergency vehicles can easily get through between two parked cars.

Sheer lunacy. But that is what this country is these days. I know it basically in all Western countries. Governments and their cronies have gone insane, along with many of the public too. Mass psychosis I think.

@GT380man Thanks and good on you man. I really wish I could say more but on this platform it's impossible. I have learned all about Vs and know they are unreal. They were av Rkflr invention. I doubt this will even make it.

And creating even more pollution which they 'say' they are trying to reduce!! This must be causing soooo much inconvenience and stress but this is what they want. They use the Behavioural Insights Team (BIT) to grind us all down.
