Objecting to Solar sites will make no difference - they will go ahead. When I lived in a Dorset village (AONB) a farmer put in an application for a field, which was overlooked by my house and many others to build hundreds of panels. We all objected and the council did too. He appealed and a guy from the government came to the field wearing a high viz jacket and a hard hat!! Not kidding. Put in his findings and our concerns were totally ignored and it went ahead. Of course saving the planet was far more important than a bunch of Nibys who were concerned about the areas natural beauty.
