There is no housing crisis, just far too much immigration Thank God that in the late 70s we both worked hard, saved, scrimped and scaped, cheap hols for the kids, cheap car and no luxuries for years. Hardly any money for food either. We bought a run down semi and I worked my A off to renovate it. Sold it, bought another and another - all were falling apart. Now I am retired and pretty much OK. So don't let anyone tell you we Boomers had it easy.
