  1. I have been driving for well over 50 years and I have very rarely seen any burnt out cars along the road. The only ones I have seen were as a result of arson after theft so this was probably what he was seeing - not some natural combustion as in EVs. Billions of ICE and a few million EVs work it out.

  2. Spraying water on a car on fire connected to a powerline? What could go wrong. People who travel around in covoys of caravans tap off all the time without any problems from the electricity - or the police.
