  3.  @mejust8392  What ARE you talking about? Scottish farmers? Three hundred years ago??? Scotland didn't have any chance to remain independent because they were defeated!! That said, Scotland cannot be an independent country anyway because it hasn't the GDP to be.

  4.  @mejust8392  No. Eire is ruled by the EU. The true chief of state is the EU, so it's a republic in name only. The EU trumps Presidents and Prime Ministers. That said, in a republic the power rests with the people, so that's why it ain't a republic mate.
