There was always cattle and machinery thefts etc but most were committed by a certain protected species back then. Now we have a new type of demographic, but now they are doing the government's job for them by making life very hard for farmers, so don't expect any help from police. they will never be deported. We used to buy eggs from farms and they left them outside with an honesty box which worked well. That has all ended now.
