Not all Insurance Companies. The National Farmers Union split my insurance into 12 payments and I pay exactly that and no more. When I had last years premium I went through it with them because I didn't want to pay any extra costs.

@wendyjones3953 Yes, I am sure you are right they do pay up without quibbling. Also one of my vehicles has been modified (Land Rover Defender) and I used to live in Dorset so it was a friendly office which was in my local town. Other companies either wouldn't insure me or were charging much more. I have been with them for years now. But glad to know you are 'normal' now. lol😃
