When I was told by Octopus that my D/D bills would rise dramatically and they wanted me to pay £450pm and sad it would level out because I would use less energy in the Summer and any difference they would reimburse me at the end of the year. I decided it was not a viable option so I cancelled the D/D and now pay £165pm. I am in the red to an extent but why should they hold MY money when I can hold theirs? I'll wait until it evens out and will pay what I think I should when the time comes.

@denisemottley22705 Yes, if you are paying them something there's not a lot they can do. People should say to them you will get what is owed, you'll just have to wait for it. They won't take court action because it won't be worth it as they will find in your favour for sure.
