  1.  @TrevorBarnard-s6d  Today's police are ill trained in law, many uneducated and literally unfit to do the job, so basically the bar has been lowered to such an extent that the police as a whole are near to useless. I joined the Met police in 1979 and my goal in signing up was always to protect the public and the vulnerable and keep the streets clean so the public could live in safety. I am now in my 70s but don't see myself as easy prey, but unfortunately things have changed and we are now in a totalitarian state. I will say that police officers are not all the same and there are some good ones about I am sure. Things will change for the better, but maybe not in our lifeltimes. I could say a lot more but YT would just delete my comment if they haven't done so already!
