  1. Similar in a way to me. I joined the police in 1979 and tbh the pay was good, excellent training and comoradery good and they appeared to look after us. It was basically old school with the old log books which they even used in the 1800s it was a pleasure to work in. THEN - 1984. It all started to go downhill. The Job had become awful, no support, no fairness along with little in the way of pay increases. They started to treat us like excement on their shoes and I hated it. I could say more but I think YT would delete it. Not because of my language but because of the truth I could impart. Thought I'd like to get that off my chest. I would have refused to drive a rainbow clad car too.
