  3. I cannot believe that is Slough. I went to college there in the 60s. I knew a lot of it and used to frequent the Slough Rugby Club and worked there too, not far from the Three Tuns. It wasn't a bad town with the covered market and decent shops. I returned in the 2000s because I had to and was amazed that all the old buildings had been swept away. It was horrible then and by the looks of it, far far worse now. The old garage I worked in and all the old Victorian building opposite have all gone. Local authorities have so much to answer for. It was never great but now it looks like Hell.

  5. We went to Brixham in the 70s and it was a nice town. Went back a few years ago and I didn't recognise it. It was dirty and 'orrible. The whole country (and the world) is going that way now - by government's deign. Why aren't police stopping and searching? We used to do it in trouble spots in London and cleared it up in a couple of months back in the 90s.
