  7. In Lyme Regis during peak season you can't do anymore than 20mph in the town itself anyway, so what is the point? It's so hilly that there are many roads which 20mph would be far more disruptive to locals having to stick to that crazy speed. I have never seen people driving at mad speeds there and frequented it a lot over the years. More anti-car bs.

  9. I saw a woman filling bag wuith chicken in Waitrose. We asked her what she was doing and she said she worked there and was allowed to take it. I informed staff who didn't seem to care. What happened I have no idea and nor do I care.

Parking on private land without a ticket will be a civil matter and can be dealt with by clamping if the owner so wishes. The Road Traffic Act will only apply to collisions in car parks where there is public access. Learn before making ridiculous statements.

  19.  @theodavies8754  No matter how you see it or what research you have done on Criminal law, Civil law or Common law it won't stop police or court actions. Some have managed to get these things overturned and sometimes have had compensation, but not many have the ability or knowledge to argue this. I am retired by the way. (1979-2009)
