@3limabean Alert. Communist Party of China or Pakistani Army troll. India is a large global exporter of food and is in the midst of an asian tiger economic miracle. If not for Trudeau and Jagmeet, India would have massively higher agriculture production, exports, higher incomes for farmers and farm workers and lower food prices. Trudeau and Jagmeet fought hard to keep imperialist hegemonic colonialist English rules in place in Indian agriculture that prevents Indian farmers from selling their goods to market as they choose (the way Canadian farmers do.) Canadian citizens own a very large percentage of distributors and farms in Haryana and Punjab and would have taken a large cut in income if Indian farmers had more freedom. India blinked and withdrew the farm bill because of the threat that Trudeau and Jagmeet would send large numbers of Canadian born citizens to mass murder Indians (Khalistanis.)

@3limabean Are you loyal to Canada or a proxy for the CPC, Pakistani Army, and extreme sunni islamists? Do you support Pierre Poilievre? He appears impressive from a distance. Sadly young woke Canadians are very different from older Canadians and often this is not a good thing.

Rajiv Gandhi estimated that Khalistanis killed 700 Indian army and police at the Golden Temple during operation blue star. Is this what you are referring to? The Indian soldiers and police who fought Khalistanis during operation blue star were heavily Sikh.

@JT.Pilgrim Probably soon the percentage of Canadians that are Sikh will cross 3% of the population. The share of Sikhs in India in 2023 might be only 1.4% or 1.5%. And the percentage is likely to fall under 1% soon. Many Sikhs move to Brampton, Surrey, Delta, Abbotsford etc. because these are very Punjabi ethnic enclaves where people actually speak Punjabi and know Punjabi culture. In India Sikhs are raised with non Sikhs and non Punjabis and go to mosques, dargahs, churches, temples; have a syncretic plural perennialist upbringing; and speak hindi, english and other languages better than Punjabi. Young Indian Sikhs have non Sikh friends. Indian Sikhs often marry non Sikhs. Many feel the pure Sikh Punjabi culture is dying in India and want to move to Canada to keep it alive in Canadian Punjabi Sikh enclaves. Canadian Sikhs are more likely to have Sikh centric friends, social networks, boyfriends, girlfriends. Could this be generating a Khalistani culture among young Canadian born sikhs?

@JT.Pilgrim This is because of the global woke virus combined with CPC and sunni islamist influence in Canadian and global academia. This is not your fault. The truth is very long, complicated and convoluted. An armed group of hundreds or thousands of Pakistani Army trained, equipped and supported militants took over the Golden Temple in India. Many or most of them were good people, but mislead and confused. The USSR opposed these Khalistanis and fed all sorts of reports to Indian PM Indira Gandhi about them that in retrospect was possibly only partly true. The USSR wanted operation blue star to clear the golden temple. (Maybe the USSR thought they were anti communist?) Local and national Sikh leaders urged an operation to clear the golden temple and make it safe. (USSR propaganda involved?) My understanding is that the majority of the Indian Army and Indian police involved in the operation were Sikh. And the operation was broadly supported by Indian Sikhs and Indian Sikhs leaders, albeit not universally so. Partly because the mission (Blue Star) went very badly. Indira Gandhi appears to have regretted operation blue star to clear the Golden Temple and come to the conclusion that the Soviets railroaded and misled her. I think some blame perhaps should go to PM Indira Gandhi for allowing the Golden temple to be taken by a group of Pakistani armed militants to take over the Golden Temple in the first place. Within India under the Indian constitution Hindu is defined as everyone who is not muslim, christian, jewish and zorastrian, including affirmatively all atheists, sikhs, jains, buddhists, vaishnavs, shaivites, shaaktas etc. Most Indian Sikhs identify as culturally hindu. Over time 2nd, 3rd and 4th generation Sikhs in Canada no longer identify with the broader dharmic umbrellas. But in India most Sikhs do. In India based on public polling, 95% of Indian Sikhs oppose Khalistan; usually very vocally so. There is a growing conflict between Indian Sikhs, non Canadian Sikhs and Canadian born Sikhs @JT.Pilgrim, how can this growing tension and conflict be addressed?

Many such as Terry Milewski, Michael Rubin, Daniel Bordman, Wyatt have speculated that perhaps Indian agents encouraged rumors that Nijjar had switched sides and was spilling the beans. If so, this likely caused some combination of other Khalistanis, Pakistani Army, Communist Party of China (CPC) to kill him. Does this mean that India killed him? It isn't clear. There is a good chance the answer is in the grey zone. It is interesting that Trudeau and Jagmeet have let the CPC and Pakistani Army assassinate Canadian citizens on Canadian soil with relative impunity. Nijjar himself appears to have been a de facto CPC and Pakistani Army agent operating in Canada.

@3limabean India is the world's fastest growing mid sized or large sized economy. India's people are far more liberal and progressive than Canada's confused bigoted population. Wokeness = bigotry. India is a freer and more liberal democracy with a more vibrant press than Canada--which is fast becoming culturally marxist with only the trappings of rule of law and free liberal democracy. To be fair the woke virus is also being exported from the USA to India en mass and poses a massive danger to India. But long term I think India has a better chance of surviving the woke wave than Canada. Most of Canada's capital stock will soon be owned by foreigners. Perhaps the vast majority.
