This is not true. The private sector dominates India.
15
@SuradkarTushar India has a large number of very small businesses. India is a nationally entrepreneurial country.

How is the start up scene in Iraq? How does this vary by state?
5
Don't think this is accurate. Skilled and talented workers have a lot of opportunities in India. And unskilled Indians don't have opportunities outside of India.
2
@sleekoduck 100% true. It is far more competitive to get into higher education in India than the USA. This is a major reason why so many Indians study abroad. It is much easier to get into foreign education institutions.
2
@vinaykulkarni8863 Sanyal has discussed this problem, this poverty of aspirations. Expanding the mind to new possibilities, to thinking different, would greatly accelerate economic growth.

Why in your view is India the world's fastest growing economy?
1
This video is obviously a socialist woke hit piece. India is the world's fastest growing economy. And most Indians want to work in the private sector or have their own business. Most don't want to work for the government.
1
India is the world's fastest growing economy. The entire country is a gigantic construction projects with new cities being built at a break neck pace. Existing cities are rapidly expanding. The dust, noise, cranes from the construction is everywhere. The world has never seen anything like it except for the massive construction boom in China a few decades ago. Traffic is insanely bad as the number of cars sold skyrockets.

FACTS. How optimistic are you that UP can become a start up state with tens of thousands of new start ups?
1
@organicfarm5524 This video covers one city in UP. UP has 250 million people. UP real GDP growth is more than 12% a year. UP is in the process of converting herself into a start up state and tech state. UP is also in the middle of a massive construction boom that is causing massive dust, noise and inconvenience. Cranes are everywhere.
1
@bhavtosh5328 I saw this. Please note that the recruiting season isn't over. Plus, many are going to graduate school or starting their own companies. It is far better to have one's own start up after graduating college than to work for a company.
1
India has a very low fertility rate with the nonmuslim population shrinking. India is seeing an exponential increase in the number of start ups. Indians aren't culturally suited for jobs and are more suited to be entrepreneurs.
1
People should do their own start ups rather than look for jobs. India is the world's fastest growing economy. However, most young Indians don't do well academically and are not qualified for jobs. They are unemployable.

Why in your view is India the world's fastest growing economy?
1
This is a clearly inaccurate socialist hit piece. India is the world's fastest growing economy. UP is the world's fastest growing region. And Hindus and muslims are not divided.
1
Muslims and hindus are not against each other in UP. This is a woke leftist media narrative. The UP--with 250 million people--is the fastest economically growing large region in recorded world history. UP's real GDP growth is over 12% a year.
1
@RockEuroStinger87 India tried to increase farming production and was blocked and demonized by the global woke such as Greta. Please see the farm protests which were backed and funded out of Canada.
1
@canergz religion of consciousness unites people. Religion begins when we transcend thoughts and concepts.
1
Do you think this competition is one of the reasons why India is the world's fastest growing economy?
1
@barboralitvanova5111 India's nonmuslim population is shrinking because of a collapsing birth rate.
1
@grad_student Which war is worst? Wife?
1
Why in your view is India the world's fastest growing economy with an exponential increase in the number of start ups?
1
@ppen8359 You mean deregulation. Hasn't UP improved a lot in this regard?
1
I don't think it is pointing out the real issues in UP. UP is growing more then 12% a year in real terms. The world has never seen a region this large--250 million people--grow this fast before. UP is making a massive delta bet on very rapid real GDP growth; and borrowing a lot massively ramp up investment. If real GDP grows more than 11% a year, then UP will be okay. Or else . . . it won't be good. The massive construction boom in UP is creating great dust, noise and inconvenience. This is a major problem.
1
Why is it heart breaking? Why in your view is India the world's fastest growing economy?
1
@lespaceman This type of socialist poppy cock is why India became so poor in the first place. India needs rapid growth. What about 7% real annual GDP growth do you object too?
1
India's nonmuslim population is shrinking because of the collapsing birth rate. India's biggest long term economic problem is insufficient young people.
