  5.  @shelbzillathrilla  The reason the international community and UN have repeatedly intervened in Haiti (2004 was one example of many) is to prevent a Haitian socio-economic collapse and avoid most Haitians fleeing Haiti for the rest of the Western Hemisphere. Canada has also repeatedly intervened for this reason. However, Haiti continues to deteriorate. Is there any way to stabilize Haiti?

  9. Haiti has been almost completely dependent on global foreign aid for generations. If the world stopped giving aid to Haiti, most Haitians would starve to death. Why do you want this?

  10.  @kilamoblack7532  Aristide was a raving socialist loon who devastated Haiti. The last effective ruler Haiti had that I know about was Baby Doc. Baby Doc was driven out in 1986 by the international community and their color revolution inside Haiti. Baby Doc was making Haiti strong and successful and became a threat to many non Haitians. The world did not leave Haiti alone under Baby Doc to solve Haiti's problems. The IMF works with many countries. Which of these countries is as badly managed as Haiti? How can the world leave Haiti alone? Since the great honorable Baby Doc left, Haiti has been almost completely dependent on global foreign grants. If foreign aid to Haiti was abruptly cut off, perhaps half the population of Haiti would starve to death.

  15.  @Ravens1300  Why in your view did the Haitian economy collapse after 1980? And especially collapse after the departure of the great honorable Baby Doc in 1986? (Who many foreigners hated because Baby Doc was in the process of making Haiti great again.) The global NGO foreign aid industrial complex destroyed the Haitian private sector. By some estimates 20,000 foreign NGOs moved to Haiti and wrecked everything. Haiti under the honorable Baby Doc was a large exporter of agriculture, food, manufacturing, apparel, tourism; and wasn't nearly as dependent on the global NGO foreign aid industrial complex as Haiti would later become. Let me guess, are you one of the partisans who opposed his excellency Baby Doc?
