@ahmedakhan1 Modi is widely known as Maulana Modi for his long beautiful speeches on the greatness of islam and the prophet Mohammed SAW. Modi has about a 40% approval rating among Indian muslims in polls. Many Indian muslims consider Modi to be the most pro muslim leader in Indian history. Socio-economically and academically muslims in India are knocking it out of the park. While India is not perfect, it is more pro muslim and much less sectarian against muslims than Canada is.

@TylerDurden1975-o1x @iknow2145 You do realize of course that a Canada is increasingly owned by foreigners. And even among Canadian residents a majority of Canadian millionaires are immigrants. Although ethnic data on this is not available, perhaps a majority of Canadian millionaires will soon be asians. What is wrong with Asians coming to Canada and economically dominating Canada? The more racist, bigoted, sectarian, resentful, jealous Canadians are of asian immigrants . . . the more socio-economically successful asian immigrants are likely to be. The greater the blow back, the greater the socio-economic domination of Canada by ethnics and immigrants.

@Deepbusy-xm6gu You mean the Communist Party of China hand? We see a similar CPC hand at play in Canada. One of the CPC's main goals in Canada is to increase tensions between India and China. And to break apart both Canada and India.

@sys9208 What do you know about Jati vaad? Canada can learn a lot from deshis about sarva dharma sama bhaava sarva shresht, civil rights, liberal free democracy, religious pluralism, reducing racism.

@Americanbadashh Its more a tit for tat. However, Canada does suffer from major human rights, civil rights, systemic sectarian and bigotry problems. For example Canada has a major problem with sunni islamists abusing liberal and good muslims. Canada has a large problem with 2nd, 3rd, 4th generation Canadian born and Canadian citizen Sikhs threatening and attacking non Canadian Sikhs and recent Sikh immigrants to Canada. These problems also exist in India, but generally less so. India is very diverse and plural and is better at minimizing sectarianism and bigotry than Canada. Indian Sikhs and muslims are also more liberal in terms of their opinions in public opinion polls than their Canadian counterparts. However, India is still a much poorer country than Canada. India needs to grow more than 7% a year in real terms for the next two decades to reduce poverty and surge real incomes. Canada India trade, investment and business could do a lot to facilitate this. Sadly this is unlikely to happen for the foreseeable future.

@Americanbadashh Indian muslims are about evenly split on Modi with many muslims in the middle. Modi is pushing to ban shariah law in India and have uniform civil code where all muslim females in India have all the rights that nonmuslim females in India have. In a public opinion poll with more than 8,000 Indian muslim respondents, over 67% supported banning shariah and having uniform civil code. Suspect Modi is less popular with muslim males than muslim females. Modi is trying to empower liberal Indian muslims--albeit imperfectly. Is Canada trying to empower liberal Canadian muslims?

@ahmedakhan1 Please speak to more Indian muslims. Please speak to the many muslims in the RSS. Many Indian shiites and sufis are close friends of PM Maulana Modi. In public opinion polls muslims are more or less evenly split over PM Maulana Modi. Please also read Maulana Modi's long speeches about the greatness of Mohammed SAW, Islam and great muslim spiritual masters. Maulana Modi is a progressive Hindu. What are your thoughts on Modi's plans for uniform civil code? You can google search a pool of over 8 thousand muslim woman where over 67% supported UCC.
