The USA is doing well. The UK is not. The UK will likely soon have less than half US per capita income and a lower per capita income than many countries in Latin America, Eastern Europe, Asia.
The UK suffers from massive brain drain as the graduates of the UK's Russell Group universities (24 elite UK universities) and millionaire class rapidly leave the UK. The UK is likely to have about 600 K emigrants leave the UK next year. Over the past decade the number of nominal US dollar millionaires declined by 8% as the number of nominal US dollar millionaires inside the USA increased by 63% over the past decade. Only 17% of foreign students are still in the UK after 5 years, and an even smaller percentage of foreign students settle in the UK long term.
Structurally and organically this UK economic deterioration is worse than it appears from the outside, masked as it is by talented migrants. 51% of UK billionaires are migrants and likely soon the large but not vast majority of UK elites, millionaires, billionaires will be migrants or ethnics.
Samo Burja and David Betz see a UK civil war as likely. A civil war encouraged, backed and supported by rich and powerful external forces and countries. And I suspect that foreign powers are already generating instability, protests, extremism riots, violence inside the UK.
The USA is far closer to a model than the UK.
