  2. Many places are less bigoted than Britain, including Hong Kong, Singapore, India, Dubai, USA, Australia. This is one of the reasons the UK has less than 2/3rds of the per capita income of the USA.

  4.  @Solus94  The UAE suppresses woman . . . true. However, liberal muslim woman who live in the UK are even more suppressed. Most immigrants feel more welcome in Dubai than the UK. Liberal muslims and muslim woman don't have to worry about threats and violence against them from islamists the way UK liberal muslims have to worry. India is a femnist and lbgtq+ culture and has been one for for millennia. India has a woke culture with Indians constantly blaming all the world's problems on India. Much the way Americans hate America and blame the world's problems on America. Both India and the USA have a degree of openness, diversity and public self-flagellation that is beyond the imagination of most Brits. This demonstrates that the USA and India are less bigoted cultures than the UK. "Northern white Indians are racist against the Southern black Indians" You clearly have no idea what you are talking about. The South is the richest and most successful part of India. And the most orthodox and traditional. And femnist and lbgtq+. You are putting India under a British lens that does not fit. I don't doubt that many Dubai Indians hate India and express it openly. But isn't that India's great strength? Jews also do the same (in strongly criticizing other Jews); and this is part of the reason for the success of Jews. Remember the British role in promoting, shaping, encouraging and creating many of these problems in the empire, India included. India and the UAE have islamist challenge the way the UK does. But Indian and UAE muslims are far more liberal than UK muslims. Perhaps the UK can study India, the USA, UAE and other countries and learn how to encourage liberal islam.
